Lucky for us, Preston left the TV where he was glued to his favorite Star Wars DVD
to actually become Vader himself------
Earlier that day at school, Tyson became the class mummy, and his classmates had a great time dressing him up.
Trick-or-treating is obviously an American holiday, but our "international" neighborhood was definitely the Halloween headquarters. The streets were packed with kids, and parties were everywhere. The city started Trick-or -Treating off literally with a BANG when the sky lit up with fireworks. (Any excuse to shoot off fireworks, the Chinese use it!) After a photo shoot with Preston (at his request), the two boys were off. Unfortunately, the older two boys are "way too mature" for trick-or-treating, but enjoyed the evening eating Chili and carving jack-o-lanterns with other guys and girls.
A handful of trick-or-treaters quickly pose before rushing off for their goods. Great fun and perfect weather made this year's Halloween in Shanghai complete!

Just a handful of trick-or-treaters, huh? Preston is getting so big and grown up. Even Parker has changed. Looks like your Halloween was a fun time but everytime is fun at the Wilde home!!!! We miss you guys. Keep posting for us to see what is going on!!!!
A couple of thoughts...
1. A HANDFUL? That is more trick-or-treaters than Mom has seen come to her house in years!
2. That photo shoot that Preston did last year for American Baby (or whatever it was) had more of an influence that we thought! He is such a poser! I loved the pics! You just may have another "Parker" on your hands one day with that darling personality of his.

PS: Happy Birthday, Parker! It was just yesterday that I was taking Bracken trick-or-treating, as your mom was coming home from the hospital with her new little bundle of joy. The years have treated her well with you. :)
The kids in their costumes just made me smile and smile! Amy is right--we had one little girl come to our door this year. Dad was about to give her the whole wooden bowl of candy, but thought otherwise when he knew we had plenty of trick-or-treaters who would be home soon. But they brought home so much candy, there will be candy at our house for a month--or maybe a year!
Isn't Preston the cutest little guy ever? Is his personality as cute as his poses? Love the photos of all the kids but Preston's made me laugh. His face is true happiness!!
Preston just cracked me up!! Looks like you really need to work on helping him come out of his shell!! :D Looks to me like the Wilde house is THE PARTY PLACE in JinQiao!!
Hey Al! I was glad to get caught up with ya..Parker is a TEEN? WOW! Mine (kayla) is ACTING like a TEEN..but not there yet..5 more months...(just can't wait)!*&^%
Chandler was a black ninja (from GI JOE) and Kayla was Alice Cullen from Twilight. She says..she hopes she never gets too old to trick or treat..she loves it! He.ehee!
