FOURTEEN and still FABULOUS!

This birthday boy here just turned FOURTEEN!! He's been a teenager for over a year which usually makes most people want to roll their eyes and shake their head.  However, this teen is definitely not anyone to shake your head out!  This boy is obedient.  This boy is kind.  This boy is just all around FABULOUS, and we are so grateful to have him in our family!!

Tyson has wonderful grandparents who never forget him on his special day.  Even Great Grandma Mary at 94 is never a day behind schedule for sending her birthday card love to every single one of her grandkids and great grandkids.

Tyson is obviously all smiles about his Target gift card, and has already thought of a handful of items he could purchase!

The first day being fourteen also included the first day of 8th grade for this "last year of middle school teen."  His after school birthday snack request?  Croissants and diet coke, and of course dinner was at his favorite "In and Out" burger stop.  Pretty easy requests to celebrate this birthday boy.....

The next weekend the celebrations continued with handfuls of Tyson's friends joining us for a multi activity party at our home.  The evening started at the pool, with fun and games, and a lot of laughter. The energy of a fourteen year old can be felt and heard for miles!

Of course there were pizza.....loads of pizza, because teenage boys and pizza just go hand in hand.

As the night went on, and the sun went down, "Games 2 U" picked up the entertainment with laser guns, barricades, and an official in charge, allowing mom and dad to sit back and watch from afar.

Check out this dynamic duo... "Team Wilde."  Tyson requests his little brother's help him with some laser gun strategies.......

And just as the laser gun games ended, the boys boarded the "Games 2 U" bus for an exclusive gaming assortment.... offering just about every game imaginable.

The evening ended with handfuls of teens hyped with energy, and just ready for a bit of  birthday cake sugar to put them to the extreme.

Rosco (who loves Tyson just about as much as his family), joined the friends in wishing Tyson his best birthday yet.

We ADORE everything about this birthday boy.  Here's to a FABULOUS FOURTEEN year old.....and still as sweet as ever!!

My goodness! Tyson had so many fantastic events for his birthday! I wish we could have been there observing because it was definitely not like any birthday party I have ever seen! Yes, we think Tyson is pretty special, too! No wonder he has so many friends--that smile and his fun personality just attracts people wherever he goes!
