Tyson has waited anxiously for his big baptism day for eight years now. The day was set for September 6, 2008. We had the program planned, his baptism clothes ready, and the water temperature outside in the pool was perfect! Actually, everything was perfect except for the weather forecast!!! It had been pouring buckets of rain the day before the baptism, and the Chinese weathermen expected the same the day of the baptism (In fact 90% sure). We wanted the day to be just perfect for Tyson, so in fear of the rain ruining the day, we cancelled the baptism for a later date. Well, apparently the Chinese weathermen must be much like the American weathermen---not trustworthy ALL the time. This time the 10% chance of NO RAIN came through---the day turned out to be perfectly beautiful, and I believe we might have even seen some sun. Tyson was a great sport, and now looks forward to his baptism in two weeks.
