Let's just say our once playful little pup has achieved womanhood, and her "studly" boyfriend Rosco, would be glad to take their relationship to the next level. We are not ready for this type of commitment, and as a family have taken drastic matters to prohibit risky moves.

The first step we took was "The Separation Stage." The rules were strictly set with the family that under no circumstances or bribes from Rosco, would we allow them to come together. Everyone made their best efforts to remember to close the door, however there always seemed to be certain someones who just couldn't realize how serious the situation was, and forgot to close the door. Luckily, these timese were just close calls! However, we realized we needed to find other ways to prevent an accident.
The second step we took was finding various rooms around our house that Rosco usually enjoys hanging out in, but is never allowed. Unfortunately, this didn't appease Rosco, and his barking got louder, his running became faster, and his heart was beating out of his fur! Not only did this behavior exist during the daytime, but continued the ENTIRE night! Needless to say, there was NO SLEEP at the Wilde home. We were not educated enough in animal behaviors to know how long this psychotic behavior would last, so we took to the internet and googled "Dogs in Heat." The first entry was the "Top Ten Questions Asked for a Dog in Heat." We learned more in those ten sentences than we have our whole lives. We also realized that if what we read was true, this madness could go on for THREE weeks!! We would have to do something more than separate by doors, rooms, or even FLOORS!
The conclusion was made---Rosco must be boarded!! Hua Li helped us by calling several dog boarders close to our home. They offered "nightime" supervision at the closest Doggy House. It was a deal, since Hua Li could monitor the two during the day.
We broke the news to Rosco----
He didn't take it very well---

We were sad to see Rosco leave each night, but we knew it had to be! (This picture was taken while we were grabbing Rosco's leash---in just seconds, Rosco was already rounding second base!!)
