Shanghai Bio-Farm

In Shanghai, alongside many of the banks of very dirty lakes and streams, you will see an abundance of vegetables being grown. Not only is this incredibly dirty water used to water the veggies, but a huge amount of pesticides are sprayed on them to keep them from dying. It's hard to realize we eat these veggies every day, and even harder to realize how we have never gotten sick! We heard of a Bio-Farm near our home that was pesticide free, and the veggies were organic. It was someplace we wanted to check out, but never planned to do it until Tyson's school class organized a field trip to the Shanghai Bio Farm. It was a very impressive visit, and thanks to Tyson we had several nice organic veggies to enjoy the next week!

He's so cute. He doesn't know how to take a bad picture! Looks like yummy veggies...just have to not think about where our fruits and vegetables come from. :P
