This past weekend, Parker's soccer team along with 65 other Asian based international teams met up in Singapore for a weekend of competition. Parker was thrilled John (despite his heavy workload, and upcoming Youth Conference responsibilities), was able to chaperone him, and cheer him on in the scorching heat!! Reports are that these soccer matches gave Parker a whole new view on the game, as John said it was incredibly physical. Even though Parker is the youngest and smallest on his team, the aggressive, bigger boys did not intimidate him, and he played fabulously. When we asked Parker how soccer was in Singapore he replied, "Awesome, the boys were incredibly fast, HUGE, and at least 1000 of them have already been through puberty!!

Way to go, Parker! We loved watching you and Tyson's game while we were in Shanghai. I couldn't believe how much you used your head--Parker. Literally! That was fantastic! I'm glad you and your dad had such a great time. Lots of fun things were going on at home while you were gone, right?
