Happy #17 Bracken!!
The "Bracken Day" evening celebrations included his favorite dinner----Cafe Rio Pulled Pork Salad, followed by his favorite dessert----Brownie Trifle. Of course, everyone in our family knows these two favorites about Bracken, but how well did they fare on the "It's All About Bracken 17 Question Trivia Game".........

That is so hard to believe that Bracken is 17 years old! I'll never forget when we stayed with you in Orlando and Doug was dismantling an antique chair in your garage (in order to box it up and ship it) and Bracken was so enthralled with the whole process as a 2-year-old. That was a great tribute to him, Alison! I always love reading your blog posts!!!

What a fun idea to do for a 17-year-old on his birthday. Very sweet tribute that he can always have. And oh that dessert looks delicious!
Happy Birthday, Bracken!!! I need to learn how to make the brownie trifle so that I can make it for him when he comes to Florida. We can hardly wait! From the day he was born with all that hair, we all knew he was going to be special, and he certainly is!
We sure miss you guys! If you're ever in Tampa, you'd better call! Give that Bracken a big hug from the Cannon family.
I loved reading about Bracken's special birthday. It feels like I know him even better now that I know the answers to all those great questions. To hear that he always has his brothers' backs and has respect for his parents is huge. To see those kind of traits in a 17-year-old teenager is very rare. I predict that many of his big wishes will come true because he is the kind of young man that will make them happen. Tell him "Happy Birthday" for us.
