Mr. Sassy

Introducing Shanghai American School's Runner Up to Mr. Sassy---Bracken John Wilde!!

It's school spirit week at SAS.   Bracken was nominated to participate in the SAS Mr. Sassy competition, and boy did he shine!

Talent---Bracken proudly displayed his ability of being the fastest twinkie eater in Shanghai, as well as a 2nd talent of blowing up a balloon----WITH HIS NOSE!

Exhibiting School Spirit--Obviously evident with his home made Eagle costume and enthusiasm!  (We knew our Christmas angel nativity wings would come in handy sometime!)

Swimsuit--Unfortunately no Speedo's allowed, so Bracken chose a sweet pair of swim trunks matched with snorkle, fins and floaties.

Dance Competition--Took the "Macarena" to a whole new level!  (Even his best friend, Rodrigo Ortiz, from Mexico was impressed!)

Interview--(Possibly the only serious part of this competition---suit coats and all)  A panel of judges pressed the participants:

*Define School Spirit.
 or
*What would you do if a fellow classmate band sporting events refusing to show school spirit??

The pressure was high, but Bracken answered with confidence and ease (:

So what does Mr. Sassy and His Runner's Up Receive?---Bragging Rights, A huge bouquet of flowers, and
an incredible late night of homework due to participating in the competition!

Congrats Bracken---your family is so proud!!  (Does anybody know where on college resumes we would add this title (: !!)

Yes, and Mr. Sassy runner-up is a mighty fine card player, great big brother, extremely handsome, and a lot of fun to be around! Don't those count, too?! Congrats, Bracken! We're proud of you!

Congratulations, Bracken! I just wish your mother would have posted pictures of your homemade eagle outfit and you modeling your swimsuit with matching snorkle, fins and floaties! These experiences make school a little more fun, right?!?

:) Way to go Bracken! I didn't know they took school spirit so seriously at SAS! Whew, I better watch my step around Mr. Sassy Runner Up! Sounds like the competition was fierce! I agree with earlier comments - we would like some pictures of the swim gear!

We always knew he was Mr. Sassy but now it's official, right?! Congrats to him. Thanks for the visual of him walking out in snorkel and fins. :D

How are you hanging in there? My heart is just so sad. We sent a message to Jeff with our love and condolences but not sure how much he's able to take in right now. Just can't find the words to write. Please pass on our thoughts and prayers to him and his whole family. Give Kia big tight hugs for me.
